Children's Ministry Director

New Life Oasis Church (NLOC), located in the heart of Los Angeles Koreatown, is a community of disciples where faith is manifested in life. We are seeking a devoted leader to shepherd our children's ministry (K-5) and guide them on a lifelong journey with God.

Position Overview

• Role: Children's Ministry Director (K-5)

• Status: Part-time

• Reports to: Senior Pastor

• Probation Period: First 3 months of ministry

Ministry Vision

The NLOC Children's Ministry serves elementary school students (K-5), providing a spiritual foundation through engaging worship, biblical teaching, and fellowship. Our vision is to partner with families to help children build a lasting relationship with God from an early age.

Key Responsibilities

• Worship & Teaching: Lead and preach at children's worship services, delivering clear and engaging Bible messages in English tailored for K-5 students.

• Programming & Oversight: Plan and execute yearly special activities and events, including Vacation Bible School (VBS).

• Volunteer Management: Recruit, organize, and support the current team of 3 volunteer teachers, providing guidance, training, and curriculum resources.

• Pastoral Care & Family Partnership: Provide spiritual care for children and maintain open communication with parents to support family discipleship.

Qualifications & Expectations

• Love for Children: Above all, the most vital qualification is a genuine heart to love and shepherd children with care and compassion.

• Educational Background: Seminary degree (M.Div. or equivalent) or relevant education in Christian education or children's ministry preferred.

• Spiritual Maturity: Committed to Spirit-led ministry, maintains a vibrant prayer life, and exhibits the fruit of the Spirit, humility, and personal integrity.

• Teaching & Preaching: Strong ability to effectively teach and communicate biblical truths to English-speaking children.

• Language Skills: Fluency in Korean is desired but not required.

• Leadership & Teamwork: Proven ability to organize volunteers/teachers and work collaboratively with ministers, leadership, and parents.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: A competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications.

• Vacation: 1 week per year

• Reimbursements: Coverage for ministry-related expenses, such as classroom supplies and curriculum materials.

로스앤젤레스 코리아타운 중심부에 위치한 새생명오아시스교회(NLOC)는 삶 속에서 믿음이 나타나는 제자들의 공동체입니다. 저희는 유년부(K-5) 어린이를 목양하며 하나님과의 평생 여정을 인도할 헌신된 리더를 모시고자 합니다.

직위 개요

• 직책: 유년부 디렉터/전도사 (K-5)

• 근무 형태: 파트타임 (Part-time)

• 보고 대상: 담임목사

• 수습 기간: 사역 첫 3개월

사역 비전

NLOC 유년부 사역은 초등학생(K-5)을 대상으로 하며, 재미있고 은혜로운 예배, 성경적 가르침, 그리고 교제를 통해 영적 기초를 제공합니다. 저희의 비전은 가정과 협력하여 아이들이 어린 시절부터 하나님과 지속적인 관계를 맺도록 돕는 것입니다.

주요 업무 및 역할

• 예배 및 설교: 유년부 예배를 인도하고 설교하며, K-5 학생들의 눈높이에 맞춘 명확하고 은혜로운 성경 메시지를 영어로 전달합니다.

• 프로그램 및 사역 총괄: 여름성경학교(VBS)를 포함한 연간 특별 활동 및 이벤트를 기획하고 진행합니다.

• 봉사자 관리: 현재 3명의 봉사 교사 팀을 모집, 조직, 지원하며 사역 지도, 교육 및 교재 리소스를 제공합니다.

• 목양 및 가정과의 협력: 어린이들의 영적 돌봄을 제공하고 부모님들과의 원활한 소통을 유지하여 가정 예배와 제자 훈련을 지원합니다.

자격 요건 및 기대 사항

• 어린이에 대한 사랑: 무엇보다 가장 중요한 자격 요건은 사랑과 긍휼의 마음으로 어린이를 사랑하고 목양하는 진실한 마음입니다.

• 학력: 신학 학위(M.Div. 또는 동등 자격) 또는 기독교 교육/어린이 사역 관련 전공자 우대.

• 영적 성숙도: 성령으로 인도되는 사역에 헌신하며, 신실한 기도 생활을 유지하고, 성령의 열매, 겸손, 인격적 성실함을 나타내는 분.

• 가르침 및 설교: 영어권 어린이들에게 성경적 진리를 효과적으로 가르치고 전달하는 뛰어난 능력.

• 언어 능력: 한국어에 유창한 분 우대 (필수적이지는 않음).

• 리더십 및 팀워크: 봉사자(교사)들을 조직하고 사역자, 리더십, 부모님들과 협력하여 일할 수 있는 검증된 능력.

보수 및 혜택
